Potato flour (also known as potato starch) is a starch derived from potatoes. This is a natural gluten-free product. It is obtained by mechanically separating starch grains from the remaining potato components. The finished product is a white powder, tasteless and odorless, with a crystal glossy shine.
It is used for baking cakes, thickening soups and sauces, making jellies, puddings, dumplings, potato dumplings, as well as starching fabrics.
